Perfect Summer Lip Colors

Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share with you the perfect lip colors for summer and spring too, of course! I love lip stick, lip gloss, lip everything. Love it. I probably have 15 different shades of pink, corals, and oranges. I just can't get enough. Below I have swatched all of the colors for you to see, in the order you seem them in the other pictures. Let's get started!

Starting from the left I have this amazing Butter Gloss by NYX, in the shade Cherry Cheese Cake. This formula is seriously amazing. I don't have one bad thing to say about the Butter Glosses. I want them in every color. This shade is so amazing for summer. You can pair it on top of a pink lipstick to transform it into a more coral shade, or just wear it on it's own.
Next is the Sephora Rough lipstick in Miss/Madam. I know i've talked about this lipstick before so i'm not going to go super into detail about it. But the swatch speaks for itself. So pigmented, so creamy, and the perfect shade of pink. Can't go wrong with that!
The next one is from the Coulur riche collection from Loreal, in the shade Sunset Angora. This isn't as pigmented as some of the other ones. But it gives a really nice glossy look with a little bit of color. Nevertheless it is an amazing coral shade though. I really love this lipstick!

Maybelline has done it right this time. The Color Whispers are amazing! The shade I have is in Oh La Lilac. Love the name. This is a super build able lipstick. It can go quite sheer or very pigmented depending on how you want it to look. I am also obsessed with this color. I love the purple tones in it. Ugh. Can't get enough.
Another Sephora Rouge lipstick. I know, I'm obsessed. I have talked about this one before as well. It's just an amazing formula. You really can't go wrong with these. This one is in the shade Unfaithful. It reminds me of a watermelon... I don't know. That's just the first thing that comes to mind when I see the color. So cute!

Another Loreal product! This is also from the Colour Riche line, and this one is in the shade I Pink You're Cute. Again, love this name. In the tube it looks like a neon pink, but when you put it on it comes out to almost be a coraly color. This is also a pretty build able product, initially it doesn't go on super pigmented but depending on how much you put on, you will get more color.
Last but not least, is a lipstick by Milani in the shade Flamingo Pose. First things first, the smell. O.M.G. I love the smell of these lipsticks. They smell so good! Anyways, this color is quite a bold color. I like to think of it as the "red lipstick" for summer, since dark lips are usually for the colder months. Love this lipstick, super pigmented, smells great, and it's a great color.

Alright guys, these are my favorite lip colors for this summer. Let me know down in the comments some of your favorite lip colors for summer and spring! As always, if you have any questions or anything don't hesitate to ask! Until next time,

Makeup Brushes: Must Haves

Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share with you my must have makeup brushes. There are a lot of people who are just getting started with makeup, and don't know which brushes they will actually need. There are so many different brushes in the market, and some are quite expensive. So, here are my makeup brushes must haves!

Face Brushes:
Real Techniques Blush Brush
Real Techniques Powder Brush
Flat Top Kabuki Brush

Real Technique brushes are amazing. They are a great price, and they are pretty high quality brushes. I swear by these brushes, I honestly feel like they turn drugstore products into high end. The blush brush is perfect for blush, it goes on so smoothly and evenly, and makes the blush perfectly pigmented. The powder brush is just amazing. Its so big, so fluffy, so luxurious. Just amazing. You need it!

I'm just going to start off by saying that, if you wear foundation you need this in your life. There are tons of different brands that have flat top kabuki brushes. Sigma is a very popular brand but they're quite expensive in my opinion. I found this brush on Amazon, it came in a set with 4 or 5 different face brushes for less than $20. I loooooove this brush. It honestly puts your foundation on flawlessly, it's easy to clean it's just an amazing brush and everyone needs one!

Eye Brushes:
Blending Brush
Shany Cosmetics All Over the Lid Brush
Real Techniques Small Angled Brow Brush
Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush

I can't seem to remember what brand this brush is, but I do know it is from the drugstore, which means it's probably under $10. This blending brush is great. Everyone needs a blending brush in their life, it is essential!

This all over the lid brush is from Shany Cosmetics, I got it in a pretty large set from Amazon. These brushes are pretty cheap, in price and in quality. I wouldn't really recommend them. But just remember that this type of brush is essential.

Oh Real Techniques, you've done it again. Amazed me with the quality of your brushes. Small angled brushes are perfect for sculpting brows, making a black or dark brown shadow into a liner, top or bottom lash line. They're just great brushes to have.

This is the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush. Once again, amazing and a must have. It's the perfect size for applying shadow all over the lid, and in the crease, also for highlighting the brow bone. Just amazing.

I would recommend Real Techniques brushes to everyone, if you're just starting out or if you've been doing makeup for years. One of the things I love about Real Techniques is they have really great starter kits, for face and eyes. They each come with 4 different brushes and a carrying case. If you buy these kits you will be set.

If you have any questions about makeup brushes let me know, and I will do my best to answer! Let me know if you guys would be interested in seeing a "must have" for makeup or anything else. **Just to clarify, this post was not sponsored. I have purchased all these brushes with my own money.**
Until next time,

Delicious & Healthy Green Smoothie Recipe

Hello Everybody!! Today I wanted to share another one of my all time favorite recipes. It's really hard for some people to get all of their fruits and vegetables that they need everyday. Green smoothies are a perfect way to get both fruits and vegetables! This recipe is also great because you can pretty much whatever you want. So this is my all time fave green smoothie that I drink everyday! Let's get started!

For this smoothie you will need:

1/4 Cup Frozen Strawberries
1/4 Cup Frozen Peaches
1 Whole Fresh or Frozen Banana
1 Generous Handful of Baby Spinach
1 Bottle of Actimel (this is optional, I just like to add this because it helps with my digestion)
About 1/4 Cup Water or Juice

Once you've got all your ingredients out you can put them in your blender. Now the blender that I have also comes with single serving cups, since i'm only making a smoothie for myself that's what I used. You can layer this in pretty much any way that you want. What I typically do is cut the banana into chunks and put that in the bottom. Then I put in the strawberries and the peaches, and pour the Actimel over the fruit. Then I put in the spinach, and add your water. Then blend, blend, blend.

You will be left with something like this. Amazing green goodness. The banana makes it so creamy and delicious, and you seriously cannot taste the spinach at all! So yummy, and healthy! Doesn't get much better than that. Get yourself a straw and your good to go!

Now, if you are out of some of the ingredients or don't like some of them there are a ton of options to make this. You can use mangos, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, grapes, whatever you like! I also sometimes add kale in there, but it does make it not as creamy. You can also use any type of juice, one of my favorites is orange juice. Another good alternative to just water is also coconut water.

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Let me know down in the comments some of your favorite smoothie recipes! And if you do try out this recipe let me know if you liked it! Until next time,

XOXO

Spring Makeup Tutorial

Hello everybodyy! Today I decided to do my very first makeup tutorial! This looks will be perfect for spring and summer, and will look great with all skin tones. I used both high end and drugstore makeup. For the eyes I used my Naked 3 palette, which I love so very much. I'm going to go step by step how I achieved this look, so let's get started!
For foundation I used my Makeup Forever HD foundation in N115, mixed with my L'oreal Lumi foundation in C3. I applied this with a flat top kabuki brush. Then I used Benefits Stay Don't Stray eye primer in the shade light/medium on my eyelids, and a tiny bit under the eye for concealer. Then for blush I used a baked blush by Milani, in the shade Dolce Pink, and I applied it with a blush brush from Real Techniques.

Once that was all blended in I used my E.L.F eyebrow kit with a small angled brush to draw on my brows. I do use the powder, and the cream part of the kit. I put the powder on the part where my eyebrow hair is, then to shape them I use the cream part of the kit.

Next up is eyes! Like I said I used my Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay for this look. I started off by putting the shade Nooner all over the lid. Then taking the shade Dust and tapping it closer to the inner corner of my eye and then sweeping it out. Then I took the shade Buzz and lightly dusted it all over the lid blending the other shades nicely together. After that was all blended out I took the shade Mugshot on a fluffy brush and blended it into my crease and up a little bit on the lid, creating a subtle kind of smokey eye. Once that was all blended out I took a little bit of Darkside on a pencil brush and smudged it under my lower lash line.

For eyeliner I just used a Rimmel black liner and lined my eyes, just to give them a little more pop. I curled my lashes and used Benefit's They're Real, which really is an amazing mascara. I love it.

For lips I used a Sephora Rouge Cream lipstick in the shade Miss. Then I applied a little bit of E.L.F Natural Nymph over it to make it a little bit more subtle.

And there ya go! The finished product. I think this eye makeup is so versatile. It could be worn as a daytime look. Or you could dress it up for nighttime with some winged eyeliner if you're feeling a bit sassy.

I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial. If you have any good ideas for looks with the Naked 3 palette I would love to hear about them down in the comments. Also, if you like this tutorial and would like me to do them more often, let me know! Thanks for reading, Enjoy! Until next time,

XOXO

Spring Break Essentials

Hello Everybody! Today I wanted to share with you some of my spring break essentials. I know a lot of you are probably going to go to some awesome place, and I am very jealous! I will be sitting on my couch with this stupid cast on my leg! Anyways, I wanted to share some beauty essentials, as well as some outfit ideas for a beach vacation! Let's get started.

So first are some beauty essentials that I think everyone needs, especially if you're going on vacation. All of these products can be found at Sephora. First thing is the Smashbox Camera ready BB cream. I think that everyone needs this on their vacation. It has SPF 35, and it comes in different sizes so it is travel friendly. BB creams are great to just put on super quick before you go to the beach to get a little bit of coverage, along with SPF to protect your face. Next we have the Supergoop Antioxidant-Infused Sunscreen mist with SPF 50. Sunscreen is always a must when you're going to be in the sun. I particularly like the spray kinds the best, because you don't have to get it all over your hands and rub it in.

Next up I think everyone needs to tan themselves before you go on vacation, especially if you're not gifted with a natural tan like me. The St. Tropez self tanner is extremely popular, and perfect to get a nice tan before your spring break! Then of course you will need a chapstick, especially if you're going to be in the sun. No one likes chapped lips. Then last but certainly not least is the perfect fragrance for a spring break vacation. It is Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue fragrance. This is the perfect fragrance, it's very clean smelling and it just reminds me of the perfect smell for a beach vacation.

Let's move onto fashion shall we. Of course, everything I have put together today is from H&M. I like H&M because it is affordable, and it is available pretty much everywhere since I do have readers from all over the world!

This first look I choose is super casual, and just a really cool look. The white and black bathing suit is  very cute, I feel like it can be worn by pretty much any age. I paired it with a plain grey tank, and some denim shorts. I had to throw in a hat, and some super cute strapy sandals with a little bit of tribal print. Super cute.

This look is a bit more dressy. I think it would be perfect for going out to a nice lunch on the water, and then hitting the beach later. I love love love this coral bathing suit. The detailing on the top is just beautiful. I also really like coral because I think it's such a good color for all skin tones. Next I paired it with a cute floral maxi dress. Can't really go wrong with floral print or maxi dresses in my book. Then I paired it with some cute aviator sunglasses, and a 2-toned structured bag. Also so cute. I'm not sure if you guys have noticed, but this style bag is my absolute fave this year. I want every color, ahhh! Love them.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you did down in the comments. Also let me know what are some of your spring break essentials for this year! Until next time,

XOXO

Favorite Spring Nail Polishes

Hello Everybody! Today I wanted to share with you guys some of my favorite nail polishes for spring. I love spring colors, so I thought why not show you some of my favorites from my collection! Also, I'd just like to apologize up front and say sorry for the awkward hand pictures you're about to see. :)

Starting from left to right, the first polish i'm going to talk about this beautiful mint green polish. It is the Sally Hansen Xtreme wear nail polish in 340 "Mint Sorbet". I love this color, it's a really nice pastel green. A great color for spring time. Next is also from Sally Hansen and it is 270 "Lacey Lilac". Again this is a really nice pastel purple, also perfect for spring. I love the Sally Hansen polishes, they are inexpensive and just all around good nail polishes.

Next up is this amazing bright pink color from Orly, in the color "Fancy Fuchsia. I have had this polish for a very long time, probably close to 5 years. It hasn't dried out, and is still a perfect consistency like when I bought it. This polish is the perfect Barbie pink color, and it is such a nice formula, I love it! Next is this pretty pastel blue color from Sinful Colors in the shade "Cinderella". This polish is fairly new to my collection. It has very small like iridescent sparkles in it. The only down side to this polish is that to get it opaque you have to do like 5 coats, which isn't ideal but it's a really pretty color.
Then lastly on my thumb which you can't see in the picture (sorry) is by Revlon, and it's in the shade 250 "Flirt". I was obsessed with this color last summer, and I still am. It is a beautiful mix of pink and purple. I love the formula of the Revlon polishes, I have quite a few and I love them all. They're really nice and opaque, and they glide on perfectly.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know what you're favorite nail polishes are for this spring down in the comments! Let me know if you would like me to do another post like this, maybe for summer? We shall see. Thank you for reading! Until next time,
XOXO

My Favorite: Oscars 2014

Hey Guyssssss. So as i'm sure most of you know, the Oscars happened last night in LA. It was a star studded show, complete with Jennifer Lawrence tripping over a cone... Does anyone else think her tripping problem is a bit over kill? It seems every award show she falls. Anyways, I wanted to share with you my favorite looks from last night's show.

Now yes, I loved many many looks. But I just wanted to share my top 2 favorite looks because well, they're pretty major. Let's get started!

Okay I literally cannot get over how attractive this couple is. I don't think they could get any more perfect. Not to mention Matthew Mcconaughey is 44. What the hell. He dose not look 44. Anyways, his wife Camila Alves looks absolutely stunning. I think the color of this Gabriela Cadena gown is just amazing with her skin tone. I just can't get over it. Literally perfect. Now we can't leave Matt hangin because he does look very handsome in his tux. I love that it is a cream color instead of white. I think it compliments his wife's dress very nicely. Hottest. Couple. Ever.

I don't think I could've made a blog post about this years Oscars without at least mentioning Lupita Nyong'o. She was the star of the show last night, wearing a custom Prada dress, and winning an Oscar for her role in the movie 12 Years a Slave. I also have to mention the color of this dress, absolutely stunning again just compliments her skin tone perfectly. I love the shape, and the way this dress flows is literally mind blowing. Some of the pictures of her adjusting the dress while she walks (like the 2 i've shown) are just stunning. I'm just not too fond of the headband thing on her head. I could've dose without that. But nevertheless she still looks stunning.

I would love to know whose looks you thought were the best down in the comments! I hope you all enjoyed this post, and until next time.
XOXO

February Favorites

Hello everybodyyyy! I hope you all had a wonderful February, I definitely had a very eventful one. February is usually my favorite month, because it is my birthday month and I love Valentines Day. I don't have a ton of favorites this month, just because I have been in a cast for most of it, soooo I haven't really got to play with my makeup lately. But nevertheless I still have a few favorites for you guys! Enjoy!

P.S. The picture quality isn't that great. The weather is so crazy today it's so dark, so I had to take these in my kitchen. Which isn't the best background. Sorry!

For my beauty favorites this month, I'm going to start off with a L'oreal lipstick in the color 175 "I pink you're cute". This is quite a bright pink color, maybe more appropriate for spring and summer, but I don't care. I love this color. I think it looks really good with my skin tone and I have been loving it this month. Next up is another lip product that I have mentioned before. The Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in the color 101. It is the perfect everyday nudey pinky color. I love it!

Next up is the Rimmel True Match Perfection foundation. I am in the shade 250 Classic Beige. I absolutely love this foundation. This is the first Rimmel foundation i've ever tried and trust me, It will not disappoint. It goes on nice and smooth, it lasts all day, I really don't have one bad thing to say about it. Go Rimmel!

The last 2 beauty favorites I have this month are by The Balm. These are the only things that I own from them, but since purchasing these, I want more! The Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter is literally life changing. Holy moly it does not get any better than this. It is so smooth, goes on perfectly, It's the perfect highlighting shade, not too shimmery and in your face. I just absolutely love this stuff. If you don't own it, go get it! I have also been loving the blush in Hot Mama. It's a really nice peachy color, perfect for spring and summer, but I don't care I'm wearing it in winter! I love it.

I only have one fashion favorite this month, and that is this beautiful shirt from H&M.It is a soft cotton fabric, floral print shirt. It has a double scoop neck which I love. I'm not exactly sure what to call this length of sleeve but.. Yea. Anyways, I love this shirt. I'm so into floral prints lately, I think t they're so feminine and cute. I just love it!

And for my last favorite of the month, is this ever so amazing, best smelling.. Did I say amazing? Okay, but seriously. This candle is life changing. If you don't like sweet scents, then you won't like this, but I do soooo I love it. It doesn't smell like exactly like a Cinnamon doughnut, like if you didn't know the name and I asked you to guess, You probably wouldn't say hmmm... "I think it's a cinnamon sugared doughnut scent". Lol. But nevertheless it is amazing. It just smells like sweet sweet goodness. Yummmm.

I hope you all enjoyed my first monthly favorite! If you would like me to do this every month let me know, and I can definitely do that!
Let me know down in the comments something that you have been loving in the month of February! I hope you all had an amazing month! Until next time.
